First Inning


The Kansas City Royals set the tone early at Wrigley Field, jumping to a 2-0 lead over the Chicago Cubs. Second Inning


The second inning saw both teams tightening their defenses. The Royals managed to hold off any scoring from the Cubbies despite committing an error. Meanwhile, the North Side team got on board with a run of their own, narrowing K.C.'s lead but still trailing behind.


Third Inning
