From the outset, the Tigers established a lead with three hits and one run in the first inning. Their offensive momentum continued with another run in the fourth and a burst of three runs on three hits in the fifth inning. The sixth inning saw two more runs from two hits, solidifying their dominance. Although they did not score in the seventh and eighth innings, they closed out their scoring with one additional run in the eighth.

The Tigers' hitters were relentless throughout, achieving ten hits and drawing six walks. Their batting average was an impressive .294 for this game, while their on-base percentage stood at .415 and slugging percentage at .441. This offensive prowess was highlighted by one home run among their extra-base hits tallying up to three.

On top of that, four crucial runs batted in (RBIs) came when runners were in scoring position out of fourteen opportunities; this clutch hitting included one RBI with two outs which can often be game-changers.

Defensively, Detroit was just as strong – no errors were committed during play while turning seven assists into outs. The fielding percentage remained perfect at 1.0 for this matchup.

Pitching for Detroit also played a key role; starter Tarik Skubal earned his second win of the season thanks to five innings pitched allowing only two hits and maintaining an ERA of 0.0 for this game specifically. The bullpen held its own despite conceding two earned runs over four innings but managed six strikeouts contributing to an overall K9 rate of nearly 11 for all pitchers combined.

The Minnesota Twins struggled offensively managing only six hits throughout nine innings and committing one error defensively which could have contributed to extending some of Detroit's rallies.

Looking ahead, fans can catch the next game featuring these teams on April 13th at Comerica Park where they will once again witness these division rivals face off starting at 5:10 PM Eastern Time broadcasted on BSN network.
