The Tigers have shown a mixed bag of performances in their recent outings. In their last three games, they've experienced both highs and lows. A standout performance came in their penultimate game where they dominated with a staggering 19 hits and secured a victory by scoring 13 runs. This offensive explosion was characterized by an impressive .413 batting average and an OPS (On-base Plus Slugging) of 1.274, showcasing their potential for high-scoring games.

However, consistency has been an issue for the Tigers as seen in their other two recent games. They suffered losses with one game ending with only one run from three hits and another scoreless effort despite managing five hits. These fluctuations highlight a need for more consistent hitting and run production.

Pitching has also been varied for Detroit; while there have been moments of brilliance with ERA (Earned Run Average) as low as 0.0 over five innings pitched in one game, there were also instances where the team's ERA ballooned to 4.5 across eight innings in another match.

Fielding remains a strong suit for the Tigers with perfect fielding percentages recorded in all three games indicating solid defensive capabilities that could play a crucial role against the Braves.

As we look ahead to this matchup at Truist Park—a venue known for its balanced field that neither heavily favors hitters nor pitchers—it's clear that both teams will need to leverage every aspect of their game to come out on top. For the Tigers, capitalizing on their offensive potential while finding greater consistency on the mound could be key factors if they wish to secure victory away from home.

Fans can catch all the action live on June 18th at Truist Park or tune into BSDET at 7:20 PM ET to see if Detroit can continue its upswing or if Atlanta will hold firm on its home turf.
