Key performances included Colten Keith's remarkable batting average of .750, including a home run and four runs batted in (RBIs), which significantly contributed to Detroit's success. Andy Ibáñez also stood out with his .500 batting average and one home run, driving in one run for his team. Riley Greene added to the offensive firepower with a .600 batting average.


On the pitching side, William Vest secured a win for Detroit with an earned run average (ERA) of 0.0 over his appearance and struck out nine batters per nine innings pitched. The Los Angeles Dodgers put up a strong fight as well, gathering 12 hits over ten innings but were unable to overcome Detroit's lead despite scoring runs across multiple innings including three runs in both the fifth and seventh innings.
