Key performances included Bligh Madris who had an impressive showing with a batting average of .750, including hitting one home run and driving in one run. Parker Meadows also made significant contributions with his bat by posting a .400 batting average along with an on-base percentage of .400 and slugging .800 for an OPS of 1.2 across five at-bats.


On the pitching side for the Tigers, Jason Foley emerged victorious from this contest, showcasing his skillset by maintaining an ERA (Earned Run Average) of zero across his appearance while achieving a WHIP (Walks plus Hits per Inning Pitched) of just .5 and striking out opponents at a rate of four-and-a-half per nine innings pitched.

The Royals put up a strong fight as well, managing nine hits over eleven innings but were hampered slightly by committing one error which proved costly in such a close match-up.
