The Tigers struggled to find their rhythm early on, failing to register any hits or runs through the first four innings. However, they broke through in the fifth inning with an impressive rally that saw them notch four hits and three runs. Despite this burst of offense, it was their only scoring inning as they were unable to capitalize further. The team finished the game with five hits and one error.
