Can Tigers' Pitching Dominate Cubs at Comerica Park Once Again?

First Inning

Chicago responded in kind during their half of sixth when they managed one run off two hits against Skubal's pitching efforts; however it wasn't enough as he remained composed under pressure while limiting further damage from North Side batsmen who struggled against him all night long.


Eighth Inning


As tension mounted late into eighth frame where another crucial play unfolded: Kerry Carpenter stepped up delivering another homerun extending lead even further securing victory within reach now firmly grasped by determined Tigs squad eager not let go until final out recorded sealing triumph over visiting rivals once more proving themselves formidable force on field today!
