Second Inning

In an impressive display of batting prowess, Spencer Torkelson hit a solo home run in the second inning to give Detroit an early lead. However, Minnesota quickly responded with two runs of their own in this inning and another run in subsequent innings.

Third Inning

The third inning saw a surge from Detroit as they scored three runs on three hits. Kerry Carpenter contributed significantly by hitting his own homerun and driving in two RBIs during this period. Despite these efforts, Minnesota's defense tightened up after this point.

Fourth to Sixth Innings

Minnesota's offense came alive between these innings as they added five more runs to their tally through strategic hits and capitalizing on errors by Detroit’s fielders. The Twinkies' lineup proved too challenging for Tiger pitchers who struggled throughout these frames.

Seventh to Ninth Innings

As we moved into later innings without further scoring from either side until late-game action when Minnesota sealed it with another run making it difficult for any comeback attempts by Tigs players like Riley Greene or Zach McKinstry who were unable find gaps within opposing defenses despite valiant efforts shown earlier parts match-up
