White Sox and Athletics trade 3-run openings as late Oakland surge and Chicago miscues swing play at Hohokam Stadium

First inning


The White Sox struck for 3 runs on 2 hits in the top of the 1st inning, and the Athletics answered with 3 runs on 2 hits while the Sox committed 1 error in the bottom of the 1st.
