From the outset, the Yankees showed their intent to dominate at bat. They accumulated a total of 18 hits throughout the game and capitalized on every opportunity to score runs. The fifth inning was particularly notable as they added three runs to their tally followed by a staggering seven-run outburst in the sixth inning that effectively put the game out of reach for Milwaukee.

Yankees hitters were relentless, boasting an average of .419 and reaching base at an impressive rate with an on-base percentage (OBP) of 48 percent. Their slugging percentage stood tall at .698, highlighting their ability to hit for power and extra bases which included six extra-base hits. Notably, they hit three home runs and had seven hits with runners in scoring position.

The team's performance was not just limited to batting; defensively they were flawless with no errors recorded and maintaining a perfect fielding percentage (FPCT) of 1.0 across nine innings. The bullpen also contributed significantly by pitching five innings with only one run allowed maintaining an earned run average (ERA) of 1.8 during that span.

On the other side, despite putting up five runs themselves, Milwaukee's efforts were overshadowed by New York's offensive prowess. Brewers pitchers struggled against this lineup as evidenced by their collective ERA rising to 5.0 over nine innings pitched.

Ron Marinaccio from the Yankees' bullpen earned his first win due to his effective relief appearance while Abner Uribe from Milwaukee suffered his second loss after failing to contain New York’s hitters.

Looking ahead for fans eager to follow their team's progress: The New York Yankees will next face off against Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on April 29th scheduled for a start time of 6:35 PM Eastern Time Zone broadcasted on MASN network.
