The game held at Mexico City Arena was a spectacle of offensive firepower as both teams put up impressive numbers. The Atlanta Hawks, led by their dynamic offense, scored 34 points in the first quarter and followed it up with an explosive 39 points in the second. Although they slowed down in the third quarter with only 20 points, they managed to secure their win with a solid 27-point finish in the fourth.

The Hawks demonstrated remarkable efficiency on offense throughout the game. They shot an impressive field goal percentage of 48 and were particularly effective from beyond the arc, hitting 15 three-pointers at a rate of about 39 percent. Their free throw shooting was also reliable as they made about 77 percent of their attempts from the line.

Atlanta's defensive efforts were highlighted by seven blocks and thirteen steals which contributed significantly to their overall performance. They dominated fast break opportunities scoring an impressive total of twenty-three fast break points off fourteen attempts.

On top of that, team play was evident as they racked up twenty-two assists over four quarters. The bench played its part too by contributing twenty-six points to help secure this hard-fought victory.

The Orlando Magic put up a valiant fight themselves; however, despite out-rebounding Atlanta with fifty-eight rebounds compared to fifty-one and scoring more bench points (forty-four), it wasn't enough to overcome Atlanta's offensive surge.

Orlando had its moments leading for almost sixteen minutes during which they built an eleven-point lead just like Atlanta did at one point during playtime. They managed to convert ten out of eleven fast break attempts into twenty-one fast break points but fell short by just one point when time expired on the clock.
