The Hawks demonstrated their offensive capabilities by leading for nearly the entire game and securing a significant lead of 16 points. Their scoring was consistent across all four quarters, starting strong with 38 points in the first quarter and closing out with an impressive 34 points in the last. The team's field goal percentage stood at an efficient 54 percent, while their three-point shooting was even more impressive at a solid 44 percent conversion rate.

Atlanta's players were also active on defense, accumulating a total of ten blocks throughout the game. They matched this defensive effort on offense by drawing fouls effectively and capitalizing on them with an excellent free throw percentage of approximately 82 percent.

In terms of individual performances for the Hawks, they saw contributions across the board. The bench added valuable support by chipping in with another 22 points to complement those scored by starters. Rebounding was also a collective effort as they grabbed a total of 49 rebounds equally split between offensive and defensive efforts.

On the other side of the court, despite being down in terms of overall season performance, Detroit Pistons put up quite a fight against their hosts. They managed to score above their average with an output of 124 points but struggled defensively against Atlanta's potent offense.

The Pistons showed proficiency from inside paint scoring where they notched up to approximately two-thirds success rate on attempts within that area and secured half their fast-break opportunities which contributed to their overall tally.

As fans look ahead after this high-scoring matchup at State Farm Arena, they can anticipate watching Atlanta Hawks take flight again when they face off against Houston Rockets at Toyota Center on December 20th at around eight o'clock Eastern Time.
