At Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home to the Pacers, fans witnessed an offensive spectacle as both teams combined for a total of 266 points. The Atlanta Hawks showcased their scoring abilities throughout the game, starting with putting up 24 points in the first quarter and maintaining their offensive momentum by adding another 30 in the second. Their scoring consistency continued after halftime with an additional 29 and then closing out with their strongest quarter at 33 points.

Despite this effort, it was clear that defense became an issue for Atlanta as they allowed a staggering number of points against them. The team's efficiency rating stood at 124 compared to Indiana's superior mark of 188. On offense, Atlanta managed to convert on two-point attempts at a rate of nearly sixty percent and were successful on eighty-seven percent from the free-throw line. They also capitalized on fast-break opportunities by scoring twenty-three fast-break points from thirteen attempts.

The bench provided substantial support for Atlanta contributing forty-three bench points to their total score. In terms of ball movement and teamwork, they recorded twenty-one assists over four quarters but struggled from beyond the arc only hitting ten out of forty-two three-point attempts which translated into just twenty-four percent shooting accuracy from deep.

On defense however, there was room for improvement as they allowed Indiana to achieve high efficiency in field goal percentage at sixty-four percent including seventy-four percent on two-pointers and forty-nine percent from three-point range. This defensive gap contributed significantly to Indiana's ability to maintain control throughout most of the game.

Looking ahead after this challenging encounter, fans can catch their next game when The Atlanta Hawks take flight against Orlando Magic at Kia Center in Orlando on January seventh scheduled for six o'clock PM Eastern Time.
