At State Farm Arena, the home crowd of 17,129 witnessed the Hawks take control from the start. The team led for an impressive total duration of over three-quarters of an hour and never relinquished that lead throughout the game. Their largest advantage stretched to a substantial 30-point gap. Offensively, Atlanta was on fire with an effective field goal percentage of 56 percent and a true shooting percentage reaching an outstanding 60 percent. They were also efficient from beyond the arc, sinking 12 out of their 32 three-point attempts which translates to a solid three-point shooting rate of about one in every three attempted.

Defensively, Atlanta was just as formidable; they held Utah to only a third successful rate from downtown and limited them to shooting under half inside the paint. The Hawks' defensive efforts were further highlighted by eight blocks and eight steals contributing to their overall efficiency rating which towered at an impressive figure compared to that of Utah's.

Key players for Atlanta shined in various aspects; they outrebounded Utah with a total rebound count standing tall at 63 against Utah's respectable but lower tally. Contributing significantly were also bench players who added up more than two-fifths points scored by Atlanta during this encounter.

Utah did show resilience despite trailing behind; they managed to draw fouls effectively as evidenced by their free throw accuracy sitting comfortably above four-fifths mark. However, turnovers proved costly for both teams equally with each committing eighteen throughout the game.
