Analyzing past games, the Hawks have displayed a potent offense and resilience. In their last game against Utah Jazz, they dominated with a 124-97 victory. Their scoring was consistent across all quarters, with an impressive 50 percent field goal percentage and an even more remarkable 60 percent true shooting percentage. They also outrebounded Utah by a significant margin of 63-49.

Before that triumph, Atlanta faced Orlando Magic in a closer contest but still emerged victorious with a score of 109-92. The Hawks showed off their depth with bench players contributing significantly and maintained efficiency from the free-throw line at 88 percent.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing as they narrowly lost to Toronto Raptors in an offensive showdown that ended at 123-121. Despite the loss, there were positive takeaways such as high assists turnover ratio and second-chance points which indicate tenacity on the offensive boards.

The venue could play into Atlanta's hands; playing at home has its advantages – familiar courtside support can often spur teams on to perform beyond expectations. With recent wins under their belt and playing before an encouraging home crowd, momentum is certainly on the side of the Hawks.

Fans should look forward to seeing if Atlanta can maintain its offensive firepower while tightening up defense against a Pelicans team that will be looking for opportunities to exploit any weaknesses.
