In their recent clash with the Celtics, it was a true team effort that secured the win for Atlanta. With an impressive 60 percent shooting from inside the paint and a solid 34 percent from beyond the arc, they demonstrated versatility and efficiency. Their bench contributed significantly as well, adding 20 points to help seal the deal. Notably, ATL's ability to capitalize on second-chance points was crucial – they scored 28 compared to Boston's 11.

The defensive side of things also played a key role in ATL's success; despite being outscored in fast-break points (27 by BOS vs. ATL's mere two), they managed to keep turnovers low and maintained control of rebounds with a total of 59 compared to Boston's 50.

Looking back at another recent game against Portland Trail Blazers on March 27th gives us further insight into ATL’s current form. Dominating Portland with a scoreline of 120-106 highlighted Atlanta’s offensive prowess as they led for over half an hour during game time and boasted an impressive bench performance contributing a whopping 41 points.

However, it wasn't just offense where ATL shone; defensively they were formidable too—racking up nine blocks and twelve steals which translated into valuable transition opportunities resulting in fast-break points tallying up to fourteen.

When comparing these performances against what awaits them in Dallas, one can't help but feel optimistic about ATL’s chances. The Mavericks will undoubtedly be tough competitors but given how well-rounded Atlanta has been playing—both offensively and defensively—it seems like another victory could very well be within reach.
