In their last outing against the Phoenix Suns, despite an impressive first-quarter performance where they scored 37 points, the Hawks ultimately fell short with a final score of 115-128. Their offensive efficiency was notable at approximately 112 points per possession but was overshadowed by defensive shortcomings that allowed a high opponent scoring rate.

The game prior saw them pitted against the formidable Los Angeles Lakers. The Hawks managed to put up 105 points; however, they were outpaced by the Lakers' staggering 136 points. A bright spot for Atlanta was their assist-to-turnover ratio which stood at an impressive 3.56.

Looking back further to their clash with LA Clippers reveals a more promising picture for Atlanta fans. The Hawks secured a victory with a scoreline of 110-93, showcasing strong defensive play that limited their opponents to under one point per possession while maintaining an offensive rating over one point per possession themselves.

As they approach this upcoming game on April 1st at United Center in Chicago, it's clear that consistency will be key for Atlanta. Fans can expect them to leverage fast breaks and aim for high efficiency in scoring opportunities while tightening up defensively to contain Chicago's offense.
