At the United Center in Chicago, the Hawks showcased their offensive capabilities by maintaining an effective field goal percentage of 62 percent. Their sharpshooting was on full display as they hit 19 out of 40 attempts from beyond the arc, translating to an impressive three-point shooting percentage of 48 percent. The team's scoring efforts were bolstered by their prowess inside the paint where they scored 40 points with a high conversion rate of 61 percent.

The bench played a crucial role in this victory by contributing a significant 35 points to the total tally. The team's synergy was evident through their distribution of assists; they racked up an impressive total of 29 assists while keeping turnovers to just fifteen. This balance between sharing the ball and protecting it resulted in an assists turnover ratio that stood at approximately two.

Defensively, the Hawks were just as formidable. They limited their opponents to only two blocks while racking up five themselves and managed four steals throughout the contest. On top of that defensive effort, they dominated rebounds with fifty-one grabs compared to forty-five for their opponents.

The Bulls fought valiantly but struggled from long range, hitting only seven out three-point attempts which amounted to twenty-five percent accuracy from downtown. Despite out-rebounding the Hawks with fifty-seven boards and drawing more fouls for twenty-one free throw opportunities (of which they made eighty-three percent), it wasn't enough to overcome Atlanta's offensive onslaught.
