At State Farm Arena, fans witnessed an intense matchup where both teams displayed impressive offensive skills. The Hawks led for over half the game with their largest advantage reaching 18 points. They dominated various aspects of play but ultimately fell short by just one point. The home team's scoring was consistent across quarters with contributions from both starters and bench players totaling 37 bench points.

The Hawks' offense was spearheaded by their sharpshooting from beyond the arc, converting 45 percent of their three-point attempts into a remarkable total of 18 made threes. Their field goal percentage stood at an efficient 52 percent overall. Despite this strong offensive showing, they struggled from the free-throw line with only a 62 percent success rate.

Defensively, both teams managed to block two shots each and while the Hawks had fewer steals than their opponents (7 compared to the Hornets' 11), they outrebounded them significantly with a total rebound count of 48 against Charlotte's 37 rebounds.

One area where Atlanta excelled was in distributing the ball as evidenced by their high assist count which amounted to an impressive total of 35 assists; this facilitated teamwork and scoring opportunities throughout the contest.

Looking ahead for Atlanta Hawks fans, there is another exciting game on schedule as they will be visiting Minneapolis to take on Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center on April 12th at around seven o'clock in the evening local time.
