First Quarter

The opening quarter set an energetic tone as both teams scored 38 points each. The Hawks showcased their offensive capabilities with Trae Young leading the charge, contributing significantly with his sharp shooting and playmaking skills. Meanwhile, the Bulls matched their intensity with efficient scoring from various positions on the court.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Chicago began to pull ahead by outscoring Atlanta 45-35. Despite Jalen Johnson's impressive performance for Atlanta, where he recorded a double-double with 36 points and 11 rebounds, Chicago's relentless attack proved difficult to contain. The Dirty Birds struggled defensively against Chi’s fast-paced offense.

Third Quarter

Atlanta made a strong comeback in the third quarter by scoring an impressive 42 points compared to Chicago's 33. Dyson Daniels played a pivotal role during this period with his all-around contribution of eight points and nine assists, helping narrow down Chi’s lead significantly.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw both teams battling fiercely until the end. Although Zaccharie Risacher added crucial points for Atlanta late in the game, finishing with a total of 17 points on efficient shooting percentages from beyond-the-arc (57 percent), it wasn't enough to overcome Chi’s slight edge maintained throughout most of this period.

Despite falling short at home against their rivals from Illinois state lines—Chicago—the post game analysis highlights how close-knit these two squads are when pitted head-to-head; evident through numerous ties (8) & frequent shifts within scoreboard leadership (19).

Looking ahead: Fans can catch another exciting matchup between these two teams when they meet again on December 23rd at State Farm Arena in Atlanta; tip-off scheduled for around half-past seven Eastern Time broadcasted live via FDSSE or CHSN networks respectively!
