Hawks' Late Rally Falls Short Against Bucks at State Farm Arena

First Quarter


The Atlanta Hawks faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks at State Farm Arena, with both teams entering the game looking to improve their records. The Hawks, now standing at 20-25, and the Bucks at 18-24, delivered a competitive match that ended in a narrow victory for the visitors with a final score of 112-110.

The opening quarter saw both teams struggling to find their rhythm offensively. The Hawks managed to put up 19 points but trailed slightly behind as the Bucks secured an early lead with 20 points. Despite some solid defensive plays from Onyeka Okongwu, who contributed significantly on rebounds and blocks throughout the game, Atlanta couldn't capitalize on their opportunities.


Second Quarter


As the second quarter unfolded, Milwaukee began to assert more control over the game. They outscored Atlanta by adding another 34 points to their tally while limiting the Hawks to just 19 points in this period. Kristaps Porziņģis tried to keep his team within striking distance by contributing effectively on both ends of the court; however, turnovers proved costly for Atlanta as they struggled against Milwaukee's defensive pressure.


Third Quarter


The third quarter marked a resurgence for Atlanta as they fought back valiantly. With Dyson Daniels orchestrating plays and Nickeil Alexander-Walker finding his shooting touch from beyond the arc—contributing crucial three-pointers—the Hawks managed an impressive comeback scoring spree of 34 points compared to Milwaukee's 26. This effort brought them closer but still left them trailing heading into what would be an intense final quarter.


Fourth Quarter
