Can the Atlanta Hawks Rebound After Miami Heat's Fourth Quarter Surge?

The Atlanta Hawks faced a challenging matchup against the Miami Heat at State Farm Arena, resulting in a 128-97 defeat. This outcome brought the Hawks' record to 27-31, while the Heat improved to 30-27. Despite a spirited effort, the Dirty Birds struggled to keep pace with Miami's offensive onslaught.

First Quarter


The game began with an uphill battle for the Hawks as they found themselves trailing early. The Heat took control from tip-off, scoring 29 points compared to Atlanta's 16. The visitors showcased their shooting prowess and defensive tenacity, setting a tone that would persist throughout.

In an attempt to close the gap, Atlanta rallied in the second quarter with a stronger offensive display.
