The Celtics started strong with an impressive first quarter, outscoring the Raptors by fifteen points. Their offensive efforts were led by their sharpshooting from beyond the arc, converting 44 percent of their three-point attempts into points. The team's efficiency was on display as they shot 49 percent from the field overall and an exceptional 85 percent from the free-throw line.

Boston's bench contributed significantly to their success with 24 points. They also dominated on second-chance opportunities, scoring 21 points off twelve attempts which is a testament to their tenacity on offense. Defensively, they matched Toronto's six blocks and managed to draw fifteen fouls over the course of play.

Rebounding was another area where Boston excelled; they outrebounded Toronto by twelve rebounds with a total count of fifty-nine rebounds including thirteen offensive boards that helped maintain possession and control of the game flow. The Celtics' defense held firm despite being tested by Toronto's fast-paced attack which resulted in fourteen fast-break points for the visitors.

On Toronto's side, despite being behind for most of the game with only seven minutes and thirty-nine seconds spent leading, they kept pace through efficient shooting inside as evidenced by their fifty-seven percent shooting on two-point field goals and forty-eight points scored in paint. Their bench added depth scoring thirty-one points but ultimately fell short against Boston’s robust performance.
