Looking back at their Christmas Day victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, the Celtics put up an impressive 126 points. Their offensive efficiency was through the roof with a true shooting percentage of 61 percent and an effective field goal percentage of nearly 58 percent. They led for over 45 minutes of game time and had a commanding lead of up to 18 points. This level of control is something fans have come to expect from this team.

The scoring prowess doesn't stop there. Just two days prior against the LA Clippers, they racked up a staggering 145 points with an even higher true shooting percentage of 68 percent. The bench contributed significantly with 47 points, showcasing depth that will be crucial against Houston.

In another notable performance on December 21 against Sacramento Kings, Boston notched up another high-scoring game with 144 points. Their defensive efforts were highlighted by an incredible ten blocks while maintaining offensive efficiency with a field goal percentage above 55 percent.

The Rockets are no pushovers though; they bring their own set of challenges that Boston will need to overcome. However, given how well-rounded and efficient Boston has been both offensively and defensively in recent games, it's hard not to see them as clear favorites for this matchup.

Boston's ability to maintain possession and capitalize on turnovers has been key in their victories; they've consistently scored high points off turnovers while keeping their own turnovers low – a trend likely troubling for any opponent including Houston.

With such strong performances leading into this game, it seems reasonable to predict another win for the Celtics when they face off against the Rockets at TD Garden. Fans should expect another showcase of offensive firepower complemented by solid defense as Boston looks to extend its winning streak.

The upcoming battle is scheduled for January 14th at TD Garden in Boston MA; tip-off is set for prime time viewing pleasure at NBCS-BOS or Space City Home Network depending on your locale. Don't miss what promises to be an exciting contest!
