At TD Garden, the home crowd of 19,156 witnessed an offensive clinic by the Celtics. They shot an outstanding 58 percent from the field and an even more impressive 50 percent from beyond the arc. Their three-point shooting was particularly lethal as they made 22 out of 44 attempts. Inside the paint, they were dominant as well, scoring 46 points on a high conversion rate of 68 percent.

The team's defense was equally formidable; they held the Nets to just 38 percent shooting and a mere 32 percent from three-point range. The defensive effort included five blocks and six steals while forcing twelve turnovers which translated into eighteen points for Boston.

Boston's bench contributed significantly with fifty-seven bench points matching that of Brooklyn's reserves. The second-chance opportunities were capitalized efficiently by Boston with twenty-three second-chance points coming off an eighty-two percent shooting on such plays.

One cannot overlook individual performances in this comprehensive team effort. The Celtics' players showed great synergy on court with thirty-two assists while maintaining ball security reflected in their four assists per turnover ratio.

On the other side, despite being outplayed in most aspects of the game, Brooklyn managed to shoot ninety-three percent from free throw line but only had fifteen attempts compared to Boston’s twelve at eighty-three percent accuracy. They also struggled under pressure throughout as evidenced by their negative fifty plus/minus rating for this contest.

Looking ahead for fans of the Boston Celtics is another exciting matchup as they travel to face off against Chicago Bulls at United Center on February twenty-second at seven PM Central Time (8 PM Eastern).
