As the Boston Celtics prepare to host the Charlotte Hornets at TD Garden, fans can anticipate a game where recent trends and statistics will play a significant role. The team's recent performance has been nothing short of stellar. In their last game against the Hornets, they secured a convincing victory with a final score of 118-104. Their offensive efficiency was on display as they led for over half an hour of game time and achieved an effective field goal percentage of 59 percent. The Celtics also demonstrated their prowess in two-point conversions, hitting 67 percent from inside the arc.

Defensively, Boston held its ground by maintaining a defensive rating just above one point per possession. They also capitalized on turnovers, scoring seven points off their opponent's mistakes while keeping their own turnovers to eleven.

Looking back at previous games reveals consistency in both offense and defense for the Celtics. Against New Orleans Pelicans, they managed to maintain an offensive rating over one hundred twelve points per hundred possessions while keeping their defensive rating under one hundred points per hundred possessions—a testament to their balanced approach.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing as evidenced by a narrow loss in overtime against Atlanta Hawks where both teams scored above one hundred twenty points. Despite this setback, Boston showed resilience with fast break opportunities and paint dominance—areas they'll likely exploit against Charlotte.

The Hornets come into this match-up as underdogs but cannot be underestimated given any team's potential on any given night in the NBA. With that said, Boston's current form suggests they are well-equipped to handle challenges posed by Charlotte.

Fans can catch this exciting encounter scheduled for April 12th at 7:30 PM Eastern Time at TD Garden or tune into NBCS-BOS or BSSE networks for live coverage.
