Celtics Dismantle Heat with Blazing Performance at TD Garden

The Boston Celtics, with a commanding 64-18 record, outshone the Miami Heat, who now stand at 46-36 after the game. The final score read 114-94 in favor of the home team.

The Celtics dominated from the opening tip-off, leading for a total of 47 minutes and 39 seconds. Their largest lead was an impressive 34 points. The team's offensive execution was on full display as they racked up an efficiency rating of 143 compared to the Heat's 94. Boston also excelled in ball distribution with a total of 27 assists and maintained better control over turnovers with an assists turnover ratio of 2.7.


Boston's defensive efforts were equally notable as they held Miami to just a single block and four steals throughout the contest. The Celtics' defense was relentless, forcing Miami into eleven turnovers while recording six blocks and six steals themselves.

On offense, Boston showcased their range by knocking down an astounding twenty-two three-pointers at a remarkable rate of forty-five percent from beyond the arc. This sharpshooting contributed to their effective field goal percentage being calculated at sixty-one percent.


Rebounding was another area where Boston outperformed Miami, grabbing fifty-one rebounds including ten offensive boards which led to eleven second-chance points. In contrast, Miami managed only thirty-seven rebounds in total.
