First Quarter


The game began with an explosive start from both teams. The Boston Celtics took an early lead by scoring 39 points in the first quarter while holding the Knicks to 28 points. Jayson Tatum led the charge for the C's with his impressive shooting accuracy and defensive prowess, contributing significantly to their early advantage.


Second Quarter


As they moved into the second quarter, both teams scored evenly with each putting up 23 points on the board. Derrick White added valuable contributions for Boston with his sharp shooting from beyond the arc and solid defense. Despite maintaining their lead through this period, there were signs of struggle as turnovers started creeping into their play.

Third Quarter


The third quarter saw a shift in momentum as New York came out strong after halftime adjustments. They managed to outscore Boston by putting up an impressive 37 points compared to Boston's 23 points during this period. Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson played pivotal roles for NYK by exploiting gaps in Boston’s defense and capitalizing on fast breaks.


Fourth Quarter


In what turned out to be a decisive fourth quarter, despite valiant efforts from Jaylen Brown who contributed significantly on both ends of court alongside Tatum’s relentless scoring attempts; it was not enough for them regain control over proceedings which saw NYK sealing victory by adding another substantial tally of 33 against Celtic’s contribution of only additional twenty-eight more towards endgame scenario thereby cementing win margin ultimately favoring hosts’ side overall performance metrics wise too!
