Charlotte Hornets Set to Battle Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena

As the Charlotte Hornets prepare to face off against the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can maintain their recent scoring momentum. The Hornets have shown a strong offensive presence in their past games, despite a mixed record of wins and losses.

In their last encounter with the Wizards, the Hornets put up an impressive 116 points but fell short defensively, allowing 132 points. This game highlighted both their scoring ability and defensive vulnerabilities. With a field goal percentage of around 52 percent and converting 32 percent from beyond the arc in that game, shooting efficiency has been one of Charlotte's strengths.

The trend continued in subsequent games; against Dallas Mavericks, they scored 118 points but again struggled on defense, conceding 124 points. However, they managed to bounce back against Indiana Pacers with a narrow victory by putting up an impressive total of 125 points while slightly tightening up defense to allow just one point less than they scored.

One area where Charlotte could capitalize is in paint scoring; they've consistently outperformed opponents here over recent games. Additionally, while turnovers have been an issue for them (22 turnovers against Washington), they've shown improvement in this aspect as well (only nine turnovers versus Dallas).

Capital One Arena will be buzzing with anticipation as these two teams clash again. The Hornets will need to focus on maintaining their offensive efficiency while shoring up defense if they hope to come away with a win on foreign territory.

Fans can catch all the action live on November 11th at Capital One Arena or tune into MNMT or BSSE networks for television coverage.
