The Hornets have shown a mixed bag of results in their past few outings. Despite a loss against the Miami Heat with a score of 105-111, the team demonstrated resilience and an ability to compete against tough opponents. The game saw them leading for nearly 18 minutes and boasting an impressive three-point percentage of 47 percent. However, turnovers proved costly as they gave up 18 in total.

In their visit to Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks, Charlotte put up a valiant effort but fell short with a final scoreline reading 107-129. Their time leading was minimal in this encounter, and defensive woes were highlighted by allowing 129 points.

However, there's a silver lining from their recent road trip where they secured victory over the Washington Wizards with an impressive tally of 124 points while conceding 117. This game showcased Charlotte's offensive capabilities as they managed to lead for almost five minutes and had an assist turnover ratio that stood out at approximately three assists per turnover.

While consistency remains elusive for the Hornets, their ability to rack up points is undeniable. They've been particularly effective in generating second-chance opportunities and capitalizing on fast breaks when given space.

The Spectrum Center has been known to provide an electric atmosphere that can energize home performances – something that could play into Charlotte's hands as they look forward to facing off against Milwaukee.
