In an impressive display at Golden 1 Center, the Hornets managed to overcome their opponents with a strong fourth-quarter performance. The team's scoring was consistent throughout the match, starting with 25 points in the first quarter and culminating in a dominant 36-point final period. This surge allowed them to outscore Sacramento by seven points overall.

Charlotte's offense was firing on all cylinders as they shot an efficient 51 percent from the field and an impressive 62 percent from two-point range. Their three-point shooting also contributed significantly to their success, making 12 out of their attempted 34 shots for a solid 35 percent completion rate. Free throws were another area of strength for Charlotte; they capitalized on these opportunities by hitting 79 percent of their attempts.

Defensively, Charlotte was just as formidable. They racked up a total of ten blocks and eight steals over four quarters of play. This defensive effort limited Sacramento to shooting only 44 percent from the field and contributed to forcing them into committing a total of twenty-one turnovers.

The Hornets' bench played a crucial role in this victory as well, contributing twenty-nine points to their cause. Additionally noteworthy was Charlotte's ability to draw fouls effectively throughout the game – they drew twenty-three fouls while committing fifteen themselves.

Despite being outrebounded by Sacramento (42 rebounds for Charlotte versus sixty-one for Sacramento), it did not deter them from maintaining control over much of the game – leading for nearly nine minutes compared to over thirty-four minutes led by Sacramento.

Looking ahead after this morale-boosting win, fans can catch The Charlotte Hornets next when they face off against Chicago Bulls at United Center on January fifth at eight o'clock PM Eastern Time. This matchup will be broadcasted on BSSE channel six hundred forty-nine and NBCS-CHI+ channel six hundred sixty-five-one for those following along from home.
