The Hornets started strong, leading by as much as 11 points and maintaining control for over half an hour of game time. However, their efforts were not enough to secure a victory on the road. Despite shooting a perfect from the free-throw line and scoring an impressive 52 points in the paint, turnovers proved costly for Charlotte with a total of 13 lost possessions.

Charlotte's offense was led by their ability to convert two-point attempts at a rate of 54 percent, contributing significantly to their total score. The bench added valuable support with 24 points but was overshadowed by Toronto's reserves who tallied an imposing 43 points. In terms of fast breaks, Charlotte capitalized efficiently on these opportunities, converting them into 17 points at an impressive rate.

Defensively, the Hornets managed eight steals and blocked six shots but struggled to contain Toronto's offense which shot over half from the field and outrebounded them significantly with a total rebound count of 55 compared to Charlotte's 41. This rebounding disparity allowed Toronto extra possessions and second-chance opportunities that they used effectively to maintain pressure throughout the game.

The upcoming schedule has the Charlotte Hornets facing off against the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on December 20th at midnight Eastern Time. Fans can catch this matchup on BSSE channel or follow along through local broadcasts for live coverage.
