The home team struggled to gain an advantage throughout the contest, never leading and unable to overcome a significant point differential established early on. Despite this challenge, Charlotte's players put forth commendable efforts. The team showcased efficient scoring from beyond the arc, converting 48 percent of their three-point attempts into points and finishing with an impressive total of seventeen made threes. Their free throw accuracy was notable as well; they capitalized on these opportunities at an 85 percent clip.

Charlotte's bench contributed significantly with 31 bench points, demonstrating depth in their roster. Fast break situations were also a strong suit for them as they scored 22 fast break points with an exceptional conversion rate of 80 percent from such plays.

Defensively though, both teams had five blocks each but it was not enough to slow down their opponents' scoring momentum. The Hornets managed to draw fouls effectively but only translated this into thirteen free throw attempts compared to nineteen by their opponents.

On offense for Charlotte, assists were distributed generously among teammates totaling twenty-nine for the game which slightly edged out New York's twenty-seven assists count. However, turnovers proved costly for both sides; thirteen for Charlotte and twelve for New York led directly to fourteen and sixteen points off turnovers respectively.

The visiting Knicks displayed robust offensive capabilities throughout all four quarters maintaining consistent scoring while achieving fifty-one field goals made on fifty-one percent shooting overall. They dominated inside as well with forty-eight points in paint compared to thirty-six by Charlotte.

New York also excelled in rebounding securing fifty-two total rebounds over forty-two by Charlotte which included thirteen offensive rebounds contributing directly to eleven second-chance points.

Looking ahead after this tough matchup at home, fans can anticipate seeing how the Hornets will regroup as they prepare for their next challenge against Boston Celtics at Spectrum Center on November 21st at seven PM Eastern Time.
