The Hornets started off on shaky ground, scoring only 15 points in the first quarter and trailing behind with an additional 14 points by halftime. However, they found their rhythm in the second half, adding 23 and then an impressive surge of 32 points in the final quarter. Despite their efforts and ending with a total score of 84 points for the game, it was not enough to overcome their opponents.


Charlotte's performance was marked by aggressive defense which resulted in six blocks and thirteen steals. They also showed teamwork through twenty-one assists over the course of play. The bench contributed significantly as well with twenty-six points added to the team's effort.

On offense, they took forty-nine attempts from inside the arc at a success rate of forty-three percent and managed to convert eleven out of thirty-nine three-point attempts into successful shots – rounding up to twenty-eight percent from beyond the arc. At close range within paint, they made eighteen out of thirty-six shots taken – achieving fifty percent accuracy there.


Free throws were another area where Charlotte excelled; hitting nine out of eleven attempts gave them an eighty-two percent completion rate from the line. Rebounding was also strong for them as they collected forty-nine rebounds throughout – thirteen offensive and thirty defensive ones.

Despite these statistics showing moments where Charlotte shined individually or as a unit during various parts of playtime against Golden State Warriors' defense rated at ninety-four point seven per possession; overall offensive efficiency remained lower than desired at eighty-four point nine per possession for Hornets compared to ninety-five for Warriors.
