Can the Charlotte Hornets' Paint Dominance Overcome the Brooklyn Nets' Perimeter Play?

The Hornets showcased an impressive offensive display against the Nets, converting 54 percent of their field goal attempts and dominating inside with a remarkable 65 percent shooting from two-point range. The team's effort in the paint was particularly noteworthy as they racked up 56 points in this area. Their fast break performance was also outstanding, scoring 26 points on an exceptional 91 percent shooting during these transitions.


Charlotte's defense played a pivotal role in their win as well, notching three blocks and nine steals throughout the game. This defensive hustle translated into efficient offense with eleven points coming off turnovers caused by relentless pressure on their opponents.

Despite committing one more turnover than their rivals (17 for Charlotte versus 16 for Brooklyn), the Hornets managed to maintain control of the game for nearly thirty minutes of playtime. Their bench contributed significantly to this effort by adding twenty-seven points to their total score.


On individual performances, it was clear that teamwork played a significant role in this victory; Charlotte dished out twenty-six assists which is indicative of strong ball movement and collaboration on court.
