Looking back at their recent performance on April 1st against the Boston Celtics, Charlotte put up an impressive fight. They led for over 14 minutes and had a significant fast break advantage, scoring 14 points at an 86 percent success rate. Their bench contributed a solid 19 points, and they managed to draw as many fouls as Boston did. However, it wasn't enough to secure victory as they fell short by 14 points.

The game against the LA Clippers on March 31st was another high-scoring affair for Charlotte. The Hornets' offense was firing on all cylinders with a field goal percentage of 50 and an even more impressive three-point shooting rate of 44 percent. The bench stepped up massively in this game too, contributing an outstanding 36 points.

Against Golden State Warriors on March 29th, despite losing by a margin of 18 points, there were positive takeaways for Charlotte. They outscored Golden State in second-chance points and showed tenacity in drawing fouls.

These performances highlight that while wins may be scarce for Charlotte this season, their ability to compete is not in question – especially when it comes to offensive production from both starters and bench players.

The upcoming battle with Atlanta presents another opportunity for redemption. While statistics favor the home team Hawks who will enjoy playing before their fans at State Farm Arena, one cannot overlook Charlotte's potential to cause an upset if they leverage their fast-paced offense effectively.

Atlanta will undoubtedly rely heavily on its stars but should be wary of underestimating this Hornets squad that has demonstrated resilience even when faced with adversity throughout this tough season.
