In what was a tough outing for the Hornets, they managed to put up a valiant effort in scoring, particularly during the third quarter where they notched 33 points. However, this surge was overshadowed by the Celtics' consistent offensive pressure throughout the game. The Hornets showcased their accuracy from beyond the arc with an impressive three-point shooting percentage of 43 percent, converting 15 out of 35 attempts.

Despite trailing significantly in terms of rebounds with only 39 compared to Boston's commanding total of 62, Charlotte's bench contributed notably to their point tally with a commendable output of 55 bench points. The team also excelled at free throws, making good on an outstanding rate of free throw accuracy at an impressive rate of 86 percent.

Defensively though, it was a different story for Charlotte as they struggled to contain Boston's offense which seemed unstoppable on its way to accumulating a hefty total score. The defensive rating for the Hornets stood unfavorably high at over one hundred thirty-one points per hundred possessions while managing just seven blocks and three steals throughout the game.

On individual performances, it was clear that turnovers were an issue for Charlotte as they gave up possession twenty times which translated into just two points off turnovers - starkly contrasting with Boston's thirty-two points from such opportunities. Additionally, despite having fewer possessions than their opponents (101.68), efficiency remained low for Charlotte as indicated by their negative plus-minus figure and lower effective field goal percentage compared to that of Boston.

As fans look ahead after this tough loss on enemy territory at TD Garden before an attendance crowd numbering over nineteen thousand fans; attention turns towards future matchups and opportunities for redemption.

The next challenge facing the Charlotte Hornets will be against Cleveland Cavaliers scheduled on April 14th at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. Fans can catch all action live on BSOH or BSSE networks starting from one o'clock PM Eastern Time as both teams take court once again seeking victory under Ohio skies.
