On defense, both teams were evenly matched with Charlotte registering six blocks and three steals while New York managed five blocks and an impressive eleven steals. This defensive prowess from both sides made for an intense matchup that kept fans on edge till the final buzzer.


Player Performances


Aside from Ball's standout performance, Tre Mann contributed significantly offensively with 15 points bolstered by his remarkable shooting accuracy of seventy-five percent from both two-point range and beyond the arc. Brandon Miller also added twelve points along with three assists and five rebounds contributing to Charlotte's offensive efforts.


For New York Knicks, their bench played a pivotal role contributing eighty-one points which proved decisive in clinching victory away from home. Their ability to capitalize on turnovers scoring thirty-one points off them highlighted areas where Charlotte needs improvement moving forward into the season.
