One of Charlotte's strategic advantages came from their dominance in paint scoring where they tallied up to 66 points compared to Utah's 50. Additionally, Charlotte’s defensive efforts led to six steals and six blocks which were crucial in halting Utah’s momentum at various stages of the game.


The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Charlotte outscored Utah by a significant margin thanks to their sharpshooting from beyond-the-arc combined with aggressive plays that drew fouls leading them to score critical free throws down stretch.
