Charlotte Hornets Stumble Against Trail Blazers' Offensive Onslaught

In a recent face-off at the Moda Center, the Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers showcased a game full of intense moments and remarkable performances. The Hornets, struggling this season with a record of 14-41, were unable to contain the Trail Blazers' dynamic offense, resulting in an 88-141 loss. Despite their efforts, the Hornets fell short against the Trail Blazers who improved their record to 24-33.

Hornets' Highlights


The game was challenging for the Charlotte Hornets from start to finish. They managed to lead briefly by 1 point but spent only 23 minutes in control compared to the Trail Blazers' dominant display throughout most of the match. On the other side, Portland's offensive efficiency was on full display as they shot an impressive 59 percent from field goals including a staggering three-point shooting percentage of 46 percent. Their ability to convert opportunities into points was evident with them scoring more than double fast break points (36) compared to that by Charlotte (14) and capitalizing on second-chance opportunities by scoring an impressive total of twenty-one second-chance points.


The home team's bench played a significant role in their victory contributing sixty-five bench points which underscored their depth and ability to maintain intensity throughout all quarters. Their largest lead stretched up to fifty-five points showcasing their dominance over Charlotte during this matchup.
