In a closely contested game at the Spectrum Center, the Charlotte Hornets fell just short against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a final score of 117-118. Hornets' Standout Performances


The game was highlighted by remarkable individual performances from the Hornets' roster. Miles Bridges led all scorers with an astounding 46 points, showcasing his scoring ability both inside and beyond the arc. His performance was complemented by an efficient night from Jusuf Nurkic who dominated under both baskets with 12 points and an impressive haul of 15 rebounds, contributing significantly to Charlotte's competitiveness throughout the match.


LaMelo Ball also made notable contributions with his all-around playmaking skills. Ball ended up with 13 points and dished out seven assists, orchestrating several key plays that kept the Hornets in contention until the final buzzer. Cavaliers' Counterattack


The Cavaliers demonstrated why they are among this season's top contenders. Their balanced attack was evident as they fought back from behind to take control in crucial moments of the game. The team's resilience was on full display as they overcame a nine-point deficit to clinch victory.


Cleveland’s strategy included effective utilization of free throws where they capitalized by making 43 out of 51 attempts which played a pivotal role in their win. Their defensive efforts were equally commendable; despite being challenged by Charlotte’s aggressive offense, they managed to block four shots and steal seven times which contributed significantly to limiting Hornets’ scoring opportunities towards game end.
