Charlotte Hornets Edge Past Miami Heat in a Nail-Biter at Kaseya Center

In a closely contested matchup, the Charlotte Hornets improved their season record to 16-48 after securing a narrow victory over the Miami Heat with a final score of 105-102. The game, held at the Kaseya Center in Miami, saw both teams fighting tooth and nail, but it was the Hornets who managed to come out on top. The Heat's record now stands at 29-35 following this hard-fought battle.

Key Performances and Game Highlights


Miles Bridges led the charge for the Hornets with an outstanding performance, scoring 35 points on an impressive 63 percent shooting from the field. His efforts were complemented by Mark Williams, who not only added 24 points but also dominated the boards with 10 rebounds. Together, they played pivotal roles in steering their team to victory.


LaMelo Ball also made significant contributions despite struggling with his shooting accuracy. Ball managed to rack up 15 points and dished out 10 assists, showcasing his playmaking abilities even on an off-shooting night. His ability to impact the game beyond scoring was evident as he facilitated offensive plays that kept his team in contention throughout.

On defense, DaQuan Jeffries stood out for Charlotte with two blocks and one steal while actively challenging shots and disrupting Miami's offensive flow. His defensive prowess helped limit Miami's scoring opportunities during critical moments of the game.


The Heat were not without their stars; however, despite leading by as much as 17 points during the game thanks to fast breaks and efficient scoring in paint which accounted for 48 of their total points. Their bench contributed significantly with 30 points but struggled to maintain their lead due to turnovers which ultimately cost them dearly.
