Charlotte Hornets Stumble Against Soaring Hawks at Spectrum Center

Key Highlights from the Game


The Atlanta Hawks demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, leading for nearly 48 minutes of playtime and achieving their largest lead of 36 points. Their offensive strategy was on full display as they shot an impressive 54 percent from the field and an outstanding 49 percent from beyond the arc, making 22 three-pointers. The Hawks also capitalized on turnovers, scoring 22 points off Charlotte's mistakes.


On defense, Atlanta was equally dominant, accumulating eight blocks and twelve steals over the course of the game. Their defensive efforts limited Charlotte's scoring opportunities and contributed significantly to their commanding victory.

Charlotte Hornets' Standout Performances


Despite a tough game for Charlotte Hornets, several players put forth commendable performances. Seth Curry led his team in scoring with 19 points while shooting an efficient 54 percent from field goal range and an impressive 67 percent from three-point territory. DaQuan Jeffries matched Curry's point total also contributing significantly with five rebounds and two blocks.


Damion Baugh showcased his all-around abilities by putting up eleven points along with nine rebounds and five assists but struggled with turnovers which hindered some of his contributions on court efficiency.
