First Quarter

The game began with both teams showing strong offensive plays. The Hornets managed to score 27 points, matching their third-quarter performance as their highest-scoring period of the game. Miles Bridges led Buzz City with his aggressive play, contributing significantly to their early efforts. However, Detroit's Motor City responded robustly with a commanding 33 points in the first quarter.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, Charlotte struggled to maintain momentum and only added 18 points to their tally. Despite Brandon Miller's attempts to drive through Detroit’s defense and his perfect free throw percentage, it was not enough to close the gap created by Detroit's consistent scoring led by Cade Cunningham.

Third Quarter

In an attempt to regain control in the third quarter, Charlotte matched their first-quarter output with another 27 points. Kon Knueppel showcased his versatility on both ends of the court but faced challenges against Detroit’s solid defensive setup. The Pistons maintained their lead by adding another 24 points during this period.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw a decisive turn as Motor City surged ahead with another impressive display of offense and defense combined. Scoring an additional 33 points while limiting Buzz City to just 14 sealed Charlotte’s fate for this matchup. Ryan Kalkbrenner made notable contributions defensively for Hive but could not stem Detroit's relentless attack.

Despite valiant efforts from key players like LaMelo Ball who provided assists and defensive plays throughout various quarters, turnovers plagued Hive’s overall performance leading them into defeat territory once more.

Fans looking forward can catch Hive next when they face off against Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Arena on December 22nd at 7:00 PM EDT; available broadcasts include Peacock Internet streaming or FDSOH TV coverage.
