First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams starting strong. The Hornets managed to edge out the Clippers slightly, scoring 26 points compared to the home team's 24. LaMelo Ball was instrumental in setting up plays for Buzz City, contributing significantly to their early lead.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, the momentum shifted towards Lob City. The Clippers tightened their defense and limited Charlotte's scoring opportunities. Despite efforts from players like Brandon Miller and Moussa Diabaté, who combined for crucial rebounds and assists, Buzz City only managed to add 17 points in this period while allowing LA to score 21.

Third Quarter

The third quarter turned into an offensive showcase for both teams as they each scored an impressive 41 points. Kon Knueppel emerged as a key player for Charlotte during this high-scoring segment by adding valuable points and assists that kept his team competitive against Lob City's relentless attack.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter, it was clear that fatigue began affecting Buzz City's performance. Despite Miles Bridges' attempts to rally his teammates with aggressive play on both ends of the court, including several rebounds and defensive stops, they couldn't contain LA's late surge led by their bench players who contributed significantly throughout this period.

Ultimately what went wrong for Charlotte Hornets was their inability to maintain defensive pressure during critical moments which allowed Lob City’s fast breaks and three-point shooting prowess shine through in clutch situations leading them towards victory.
