Hornets' Buzz Falls Short as Cavs Hold Court in Defensive Duel

First Quarter


The Charlotte Hornets, with a record of 16-28, faced off against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who stood at 25-20. The game began with the Cavs taking an early lead, scoring 33 points in the first quarter compared to the Hornets' 20. The Wine and Gold's defensive prowess was evident as they managed to keep Buzz City at bay.

Second Quarter


In the second quarter, both teams struggled offensively. The Hornets only managed to add 12 points to their tally while the Cavs scored 23. Despite LaMelo Ball's efforts with his playmaking skills contributing seven assists throughout the game, Charlotte couldn't close the gap before halftime.


Third Quarter


The third quarter saw a resurgence from Buzz City as they scored an impressive 32 points. Brandon Miller led this charge for Charlotte with his scoring ability and efficiency on display. However, Cleveland maintained their composure and added another 20 points to their scoreline.


Fourth Quarter


As we entered into what would be known as "Charlotte Hornets vs Cleveland Cavaliers turning point," both teams fought hard defensively in a low-scoring final period where Charlotte put up just enough effort by adding another set of digits totaling up-to twenty-three but still fell short against Cavalier’s eighteen-point contribution leading them towards victory line eventually sealing it off completely!


The final score read: Cleveland Cavaliers -94; Charlotte Hornet’s -87 marking yet another win-loss addition respectively onto each team’s records now standing tall at (26-20) & (16–29).
