The Cavs come into this game with a mixed bag of results from their previous outings. On December 24th against the Chicago Bulls, they secured a convincing win with a score of 109-95. Their offense was firing on all cylinders as they led for over 40 minutes and boasted an impressive second-chance points tally of 30. This victory showcased their ability to dominate inside the paint and capitalize on turnovers.

However, just two days prior, on December 22nd, Cleveland faced a setback against the New Orleans Pelicans at home. Despite putting up an admirable fight and dishing out an impressive number of assists (34), they fell short by nineteen points in a high-scoring affair that ended at 104-123. This loss highlighted some defensive vulnerabilities that could be exploited by an efficient Mavericks offense if not addressed promptly.

But redemption came swiftly for CLE when they bounced back against Utah Jazz with a resounding victory scoring 124 points while allowing only 116 on December 21st. The bench made significant contributions totaling seventy-five points which could prove vital as depth often becomes a deciding factor in tightly contested matchups.

The key for Cleveland will be maintaining their offensive efficiency while tightening up defensively. They'll need to limit DAL's opportunities from beyond the arc and control the pace of the game through their rebounding strength – areas where they've shown proficiency in recent games.

The Mavericks should not be underestimated though; any team playing at home has its advantages and can harness energy from its supporters to fuel performance levels. However, given CLE's resilience and ability to bounce back after tough losses coupled with their potent bench production recently demonstrated against Utah Jazz – there is every reason for Cavs fans to approach this matchup with confidence.

Mark your calendars for December 27th at American Airlines Center where tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 PM Eastern Time. Fans can catch all action live on BSOH channel number six hundred sixty or follow along via local broadcasts depending upon your location.
