In that game on December 30th, despite a strong start with 37 points in the first quarter and maintaining a lead for over 25 minutes of playtime, CLE ultimately fell short. Their impressive two-point field goal percentage of 72 percent was overshadowed by their struggle beyond the arc where they only managed a meager 14 percent from three-point range. However, their ability to draw fouls and convert free throws at a rate of 78 percent showcased their aggressive playstyle.

The Cavs' bench contributed significantly with 27 points but it wasn't enough to overcome Milwaukee's offensive onslaught. One positive takeaway was their ball security; CLE turned over the ball just eight times compared to Milwaukee's seventeen.

Looking ahead, CLE must address their perimeter shooting if they hope to outscore TOR in their own backyard. The Raptors will not make it easy as they have been known for their defensive prowess and ability to disrupt opponents' shooting rhythms.

On December 28th against Dallas Mavericks, CLE displayed resilience by securing a narrow victory with an assertive final quarter push that saw them score 31 points. Their bench depth shone through once again as they amassed an impressive total of 47 points which could prove pivotal against TOR’s defense.

CLE’s performance on December 24th versus Chicago Bulls further highlighted this team's potential when firing on all cylinders; dominating time leading by almost three-quarters of the match duration and showcasing efficient scoring inside with a two-point field goal percentage of 63 percent.

The key matchup will likely involve controlling tempo and maximizing possessions since both teams have demonstrated proficiency in scoring within paint while also being able to capitalize on turnovers effectively.

Fans can catch this thrilling matchup live on January 1st at Scotiabank Arena or tune into SportsNet internationally or BSOH channel number:660 for away fans at precisely half-past seven in the evening Eastern Time.
