The game, held at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, was a showcase of the Cavaliers' defensive tenacity and offensive efficiency. The home team outrebounded their opponents with a total of 59 rebounds compared to the Nets' 53. This rebounding effort was complemented by an impressive defensive display that included six blocks and eleven steals.

Offensively, Cleveland's performance from beyond the arc was notable as they converted thirteen three-pointers on forty-four attempts, equating to thirty percent shooting from deep. Their free throw accuracy also played a crucial role in sealing the win; they made thirty-four free throws out of forty-three attempts for seventy-nine percent shooting from the line.

The Cavaliers led for nearly the entire game – an impressive time leading of forty-seven minutes and thirty-five seconds – and established a substantial lead that peaked at twenty-six points. They capitalized on turnovers as well, scoring sixteen points off Brooklyn's seventeen turnovers.

Despite one ejection from their side, Cleveland maintained composure throughout the match. Their bench contributed significantly with thirty-eight bench points against Brooklyn's fifty-eight. The most unanswered run by Cleveland saw them put up ten consecutive points against Brooklyn's four during one stretch of play.
