At the heart of the Cavaliers' success was their ability to convert opportunities into points. They outperformed the Clippers in field goal percentage, shooting an impressive 49 percent compared to the Clippers' 48 percent. This slight edge was crucial in a game that saw both teams aggressively attacking the basket. The home team also excelled at free throws, making 21 out of 26 attempts for an outstanding accuracy rate of 81 percent.

The Cavaliers showcased their strength inside by dominating points in the paint with a total of 52, while maintaining a solid defensive stance that limited the Clippers to just 46 points from similar plays. Their rebounding was equally effective; they grabbed a total of 52 rebounds including an important contribution from offensive boards which led to second-chance points totaling up to an impactful figure of 19.

Three-point shooting was another area where both teams showed skill but ended up on par, each landing at a conversion rate of around one-third successful shots from beyond the arc. However, it was Cleveland's ability to capitalize on turnovers that made a significant difference; they scored more efficiently off turnovers than their opponents did.

Despite being tied four times and experiencing ten lead changes throughout this dynamic contest, it was ultimately Cleveland's time leading – clocking nearly thirty-seven minutes ahead – which underscored their dominance during playtime.
